The global consumption structure shows that molybdenum has been an ally to iron. Molybdenum is consumed in 80% of Western developed countries. Steel absorbs 30 percent of its molybdenum while stainless steel absorbs 30 percent, low-alloy steel absorbs 30 per cent, cutting and drilling tools absorb 10%, and casting steel takes 10%. 1. Molybdenum alloy
