TiN powder is also known as titanium nitride. The melting point of this material is much higher than other transition metal or nitrides. However, its density is less than most metal and nitrides. This makes it heat-resistant. Purity: 99.5%
Particle Size: 1 to 3 mm
The Titanium Nitride TiN Pulver:
Titanium Nitride formula It is TiN. Titanium Nitride It is a hard ceramic material that can be used for coating titanium alloys and steel, as well as carbides and other aluminum components, to enhance their surface properties. Vickers hardness is 1800-2100 for TiN, elastic modulus 251GPa and coefficient of thermal expansion 9.35×10-6K-1 are some of the characteristics. Superconducting temperature is 5.6K.

Ti nitride Normal temperature 800°C will cause it to oxidize. TiN coating color The color is brownish-golden. Laboratory tests show that it is chemically stable up to 20 degrees Celsius. But, at elevated temperatures concentrated acid solutions can slowly corrode the material. Dependent on the surface finish and material of the substrate, the friction coefficient (unlubricated), between TiN-N and other TiN can range from 0.4 to 0.9%. TiN is a NaCl crystal structure of NaCl type. It has about a 1:1 stoichiometric. TiNx compounds with an x value between 0.6-1.2 are thermodynamically stable.

TiN turns superconducting at very low temperatures. For single crystals the critical temperature can reach 6.0K. The superconductivity in thin-film TiN has been extensively studied, and its superconductivity varies greatly depending on the sample preparation until the superconductivity in the superconductor-insulator transition is completely suppressed. By cooling the TiN film down to a value near zero, it was transformed into the world’s first super-insulator.

Coating of titanium nitride TiN can be used to cover titanium alloys, metals, carbides and parts made of aluminum. This material is ideal for jewellery and other high-performance ceramics. It can also be used to make medical devices such as saw blades and plastic bone. Additionally, it can be used to create conductive barriers in microelectronics as well as electrodes in bioelectronics.

How does Titanium Nitride Powder TiN Powder get made?
Directly reacting titanium and Nitrogen at 1200°C can create titanium nitride. A vapor deposition process using a mix gas consisting of titanium tetrachloride and nitrogen can create the coating. The heat treatment of metallic titanium with nitrogen or ammonia to make titanium dinitride at 900-1100°C is what produces it. Titanium Tetranitride results from heating titanium trichloride and ammonia to 1000 degrees Celsius.

Titanium Nitride TiN (Titanium Nitride) powder is used:
Titanium nitride, a hard ceramic, is used for coating titanium alloys and steel, as well as aluminum parts. You can use it for jewelry, high-performance ceramic materials and even medical equipment like scalpels or bone saw blades. Additionally, it can be used to create conductive barriers in microelectronics as well as electrodes for bioelectronics.
TiN is used for a thin coating that hardens and protects cutting and sliding surfaces. Most applications require a coating thickness of less than 5 microns (0.00020 in).
The most common applications of TiN are steel, hardened and stainless steels with high wear resistance. TiN is the best material to use for physical vapor-deposition coatings.
This coating can also be used in medical instruments (implants, surgical instruments etc.). It is used for food processing and medical purposes. You can easily remove the TiN layer and recoat it. You can strip and recoat.
Plastic packaging materials such as PET bottles can be made.
The solar vacuum tube has a very high absorbed sunlight.
High-temperature furnaces are used to consume energy.
Biomaterials are used to make artificial limbs.
In harsh conditions, optical equipment can be made.
Useful as an alloy modifier in cemented carbide
